My research is focused on the Social Semantic Web and how information usage can be interpreted an processed automatically for simplifying user tasks. For this purpose, my work consist on the application and development of machine learning techniques and clutter free graphical user interfaces.

I am a Ph.D. student at the Open University (KMi) and work on the EU funded project ROBUST under the supervision of  Dr Yulan He and Dr Harith Alani. My thesis explores the how economical models can be applied for defining and predicting user value in online enquiry communities.

Before joining KMi, I was a research assistant at the University of Sheffield (OAK). I was involved in the EU funded WeKnowIt project. My work was centred around the development and design of  the emergency response platform. In this context, I developed the principal ontological model of the project and created new methods for visualising semantic content. Besides this work, my research explored novel techniques of  user profiling as part of the personal intelligence package of the project. Prior to my work at the University of Sheffield, I studied for a Master in Computer Sciences specialised in NLP and speech processing at the University Of Sheffield and Caen thought the ERASMUS exchange program.
